VI 3.5 新版本结构
VI 3.5 将提供4个Editions:
1. ESX Server 3i (新增) – ESX Server 3i + VMFS + Virtual SMP
2. VI Foundation (相对于 VI3 Starter) – (ESX Server 3i 或 ESX 3.5) + VMFS + Virtual SMP + VC Agent + Update Manager + Consolidated Backup
3. VI Standard (相对于 VI3 Standard) – VI Foundation + HA
4. VI Enterprise (相对于 VI3 Enterprise) – VI Standard + VMotion + Storage VMotion + DRS + DPM (Power Management)
价格方面预计:
ESX Server 3i 价格将会很有吸引力, 可能比Starter低不是很少! [img]
VI Foundation 与目前的Starter相近(增加了功能)
VI Standard 比目前的Standard有所下降
VI Eenterprise 与目前的Enterprise相近(增加了功能)
